Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. Her best-known role is Skyler White in the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting when she was in the Preparatory School. The late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She attended theatre classes in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a period in the British American Drama Academy. Anna started her acting career with Chicago-area theaters for a few years. Then she moved to TV and film. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she played Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. At the beginning of 1990, she was a frequent guest on TV and in films including Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Also, she starred in the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in Numbered Day, an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio dramas. The relationship with Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the story on Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and its eventual demise arguably echoing the same storyline of Walter White's last years of life.
